Pechanec, V., Kilianová, H., Ptáček, B., Rejšek, K., Vranová, V., Marosz, K. (2015). Soil sampling maps in relation to terrain heterogeneity. Specialized map with expert content. RIV/61989592:15310/15:33156588
Each map in the set locates just one transect within the Czech Republic, the area of interest of the Křtiny Soil Testing Plant and individual sampling points. The left part shows the variability of five selected geo-ecological factors (geology, pedology, forest typology, land use and affected stand groups). The right part shows the variability of seven soil properties – maximum capillary water capacity (MCWC), minimum air capacity (AMCC), soil active reaction (pH/H20), soil potential exchange reaction (pH/KCl), soil oxidisable carbon (Cox), humic acid to fulvic acid ratio (HK:FK), total soil amino acid content determined by chromatographic methods (AK). The variability of the values is categorized in terms of spatiotemporal variability. The variability of a given trait over the study period is interpolated from primary field and laboratory measurements. The map is accompanied by a textual commentary and a table of contents containing basic identifying features and information.
