The map “Sacral monumental objects in the territory of the Archdiocese of Olomouc as habitats of endangered species of aircraft” brings a new, not yet processed into the form of map output, expression of the inventory of sacral objects in terms of the occurrence of specific species of aircraft. The methodological development of the map is based on a zoological survey of chiropterology sites and subsequent cartographic processing using GIS and graphic programs. The map conveys uniquely the overall view of the studied issue and also demonstrates the conservation significance of a significant part of the sacred buildings in ADO. The summer colonies of aeroplanes in human-made structures are particularly vulnerable and their conservation is of utmost importance. For some species, specific refuges are often used for decades and their conservation is therefore essential for the survival of the entire population of the species in a given area.
