The map “Sacred monumental objects in the territory of the Archdiocese of Olomouc as bird breeding habitats” brings a new, previously unprocessed expression of the inventory of sacred objects in terms of the occurrence of specific bird species. The methodological creation of the map is based on a zoological survey of the sites by ornithologists and subsequent cartographic processing using GIS and graphic programs. The map expresses in a unique way the overall view of the studied issue and proves not only the cultural but also the conservation significance of a significant part of the sacral buildings in ADO. The map provides all users with a quick and visual overview of the bird species in each sacred building.
