The main purpose of the software solution is a quick and uniform assessment of the hydromorphological state of watercourses, according to the developed HYMOS methodology (Babej, J. et al., 2024). The software interface allows users to combine pre-prepared data from remote data analysis and their field knowledge. The application is one of the main outputs of the TAČR project SS05010135 Development of a methodology for monitoring and assessing hydromorphological characteristics of watercourses (HYMOS) and is created entirely following the prepared assessment methodology within this project. The resulting solution is a web-oriented application that is functional in 24/7 mode. The application is based on the concept of a web application with an ultra-thin client, where the user only needs a regular graphical web browser without any add-ons to work. The resulting application is designed as publicly available, but authorization is required for full functionality.
