Information deficit reduction and the development of imagination of persons with visual impairments through 3D models with auditory elements

The main aim of the project is to reduce the information deficit caused by the loss or reduction of visual perception of people with visual impairment and to develop their spatial imagination. This aim will be achieved through the use of the multisensory effect via the design, creation, and practical implementation of 3D audio-tactile models of historical and religious monuments, which will be used in work with the target group of users. 3D models will also be available to administrators of selected monuments for the general public. The project will be interdisciplinary, using the latest knowledge in the field of special education, 3D modelling, and cartography. Experts on religious monuments and experts on the history and accessibility of monuments will also be involved.
