The aim of the project was to map the agricultural land owned by the city of Olomouc, which is suitable for landscape measures (ÚSES, anti-erosion measures, flood control measures, drainage conditions in the landscape), for a more ecologically friendly and environmentally friendly way of farming and to create a map (in GIS format) basis.
The primary objective of these principles was to define the basic attitudes to be adopted by the local government in the management of agricultural land, in particular with regard to environmentally friendly management and the creation of prerequisites for the implementation of the UES, anti-erosion measures, landscape features and permeability of the landscape (system of dirt roads).
SMOL land was identified on which it would be possible to restore field paths, to implement landscape measures leading to the improvement of anti-erosion functions in the area, water retention in the landscape, to supplement biodiversity, and to improve the visual and aesthetic value of the area. Such landscape measures are mainly grass strips,
anti-erosion belts of trees and shrubs, avenues along roads, wetlands (pools), orchards of regional varieties.
