This work presents results of final part of the Bachelor study program on Geoinformatics and geography at the Faculty of Science, Palacky University in Olomouc.
The main aim of the bachelor thesis was to design and partially implement the procedure for updating price maps of Olomouc city in the GIS environment. The whole process was created in ArcGIS Desktop because of requirements from workers of municipality of Olomouc city. Whole updating process of price map was performed in three steps. The main aim of first stage was to check the consistency of price map with digital cadastral map. The second step in the procedure was updating polygons of price map and locating list of realized sales, which was created at the beginning of this stage. During the final step was table of prices for year 2010 joined to feature class of price map. Then was final map output of price map created.
One of the other aims of this study was to create a map projects for the old price maps 2007-2009. There was necessary to convert input data into a GIS environment and appropriately select and display the underlying layers of the digital cadastral map. These converted price maps were also used for creating animation of the real estate market developments in Olomouc.
In this thesis are also presented interpolation methods for calculation of land prices. There are demonstrated methods of IDW, spline ane kriging.
