Summary

The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the geoinformatic data processing from the study of monitoring of the success rate of the wintering of bees in the Czech Republic and in selected European states. The theoretical part is dedicated to the visual possibilities of the data processing from the questionnaire survey. The thesis is supplemented by the research of convenient datasets enabling spatial analysis in the possible combination with the data from the questionnaire survey.

The practical part includes the introduction and thorough study of the questionnaire survey of the monitoring of the success rate of the wintering of bees within the COLOSS project. The selection and adjustment of the concrete questions for further processing is being solved using the MS Excel software. The ArcGIS Desktop software and the CARTO software are used for the data processing in the form of graphs, charts and map output. Cluster analysis was done by the Getis Ord Gi* and LISA methods. All the outputs are placed into the created web presentation established on the storytelling concept.

The outcome of the thesis is the whole process from the data processing from the questionnaire survey through the creation of the map outputs to their insertion to the web presentation. The secondary outcome is the propagation of the ideas of the COLOSS association and the support of the other possible respondents among beekeepers to fill in the questionnaire which, after all, also helps them.
